The Lactation Network is a DME (Durable Medical Equipment Provider) that bills multiple insurance companies. We are contracted with TLN to provide lactation services with prior approval from TLN. Insurance coverage depends on which service you need and what insurer you work with.
For those without insurance, we strive to make our services affordable to all in the Charleston area – We offer military discounts, sliding scale fees, and payment plans. No one should be without help! Contact us to discuss your options.
The simple answer is if they are not an IBCLC-they are not Board Certified. The educational training for any credential that is less than IBCLC is a few hours to weeks. If you are looking for an expert in the field of lactation always look for the IBCLC: International Board Certified Lactation Consultant.
